Our staff of Registered Vascular Technologists are experienced, trained and dedicated to providing patients with exacting diagnostic accuracy and superior technical performance. The Jersey Coast Vascular Lab is a stat-of-the-art diagnostic facility; one of a select few in the country recognized by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (IACVL). Arterial Evaluation and Examination, Including:
Carotid- areas of the neck that supply the brain with blood
Upper and Lower Extremities- status of arterial circulation
Renal (kidneys) - arterial circulation
Abdominal - abdominal aorta and its branches, aortic aneurysm and iliac arteries
Bypass Grafts - patency of upper and lower extremity bypass grafts
Endovascular - including surveillance for abdominal aortic aneurysms treated endovascular stent grafts
Venous Evaluation and Examination, Including:
Venous --for blood clots and venous reflux
Vein Mapping - size and patency of superficial veins in the upper and lower extremities.
Dialysis Access -- status of dialysis access grafts
Our team of vascular surgeons will evaluate your test, discuss the results during your next visit, or forward the information to your primary care physician. We can also contact your physician by phone, and follow-up with a written confirmation of results, at your request.
